Spotlight Speaker: Ellen Weaver, Human Resources Manager of Lowes Home Improvement
Ellen is a hard working employee who strives to do the best in her career and in the HR world. She owns high employee relation skills that minimize group issues and conflicts. She upholds leadership skills through many group conflict resolutions, and trains others on their leadership skills as well. She implements a high level of employee retention for managers and employees. She is also very motivated in her job as the HR world can be challenging, therefore, she continues her HR knowledge through continuous education. She thinks we should always be challenged in our careers for it makes us better, smarter, and more motivated!
She likes to keep educating herself to stay on top of HR knowledge, skills, and abilities. Also, in the near future she plans on achieving a Master's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in HR. She definitely has a true passion for Human Resources and enjoys all aspects. She looks forward to many more years in the HR field.
Our Networking Meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
All attendees have 30 seconds to give their 'business commercial' and we also have a 10-minute presentation from our sponsor each week.
It's an excellent way to network with members and breakfast will always be served. This is an energetic crowd, so be prepared to have a great time and to meet new people!
